As the first staff members students interact with, transport specialists play a crucial role at Open Sky. Transport specialists welcome new students to Open Sky Wilderness Therapy and guide them through the arrival process until they join their teams in the field. They set the tone for each student’s stay by meeting them with kindness, compassion, and empathy, all while holding firm boundaries.
Open Sky’s transport specialists are genuine, motivated by meaningful work, and calm under pressure. They keep a flexible job schedule, spend most of their time driving through the beautiful landscape of the Four Corners region, and build valuable skills in a medical and mental health environment.
